Playback!: Robin Trower, ‘Day Of The Eagle’ (Live ’73)
Here’s some hard-grooving, early Seventies rock to brighten your day. Click the vid to catch Robin Trower, James Dewar, and Reg Isidore impress a Parisian audience with “Day of The Eagle.”
“Day of The Eagle” is the first track on Trower’s Bridge of Sighs LP which hit record shops in the spring of 1974. Bassist-vocalist James Dewar’s soulful voice always reminds me of Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers. What think you? Oh, and don’t forget to boost your volume!
