What were Sonny and Cher up to 45 years ago? They were releasing their latest hit tune, “A Cowboy’s Work Is Never Done,” of course.

“A Cowboy’s Work Is Never Done” (written by Sonny Bono) appeared on the duo’s All I Ever Need Is You L.P. in early 1972 and roped and wrangled its way to #8 on the US Hot 100.
