Chuck Berry’s “My Ding-A-Ling” hit the charts 45 years ago and jangled all the way to #1 on the US Hot 100 and the UK charts.

Berry’s live version of the song, originally written and released by Dave Bartholomew in 1952, appeared on the rock icon’s The London Chuck Berry Sessions L.P. in the fall of ’72.
