Playback!: The Jam, ”A’ Bomb In Wardour Street’ (Live ’78)
Paul Weller, aka “The Modfather,” turns 60 years old today. In honor of the man’s birthday we have The Jam performing on the UK’s Old Grey Whistle Test in the summer of 1978.
“‘A’ Bomb In Wardour Street” originally appeared on the All Mod Cons LP in late ’78 and, on a single sided with a cover of “David Watts,” hit #25 in the UK.
