‘The best thing yet!’

The Dramatics’ “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” was released as a single in the summer of 1971 and appeared on the LP of the same name.

This taught, smokin’ tune climbed to #9 on the US Hot 100. The album also contains the excellent tunes “Get Up and Get Down” (US #78) and “In the Rain” (US #5). Well worth adding to your collection.

Below, you’ll find a 1972 Dramatics appearance on Soul Train. I wish the visual quality was a bit cleaner, but I’ll take what I can get for one of my favorite tunes. Enjoy!
