Bill Withers performing “Ain’t No Sunshine” live on The Midnight Special in 1974 is two minutes of musical perfection.

“Ain’t No Sunshine” originally appeared on Wither’s 1971 debut L.P., Just As I Am. The tune climbed to #3 on the US Hot 100 and features Duck Dunn on bass and Stephen Stills on guitar. Booker T. produced and arranged.
